Who are we?

Staff

Young people are at the core of everything we do and are the foundation of our vision moving forward.

Our young participants have a voice and they are listened to. They have discussions with staff and volunteers and this steers everything we do at Bridgend YMCA.

Staff and volunteers put children and young people’s needs first, they take time to listen, they are supportive yet challenging, and give children and young people belief, hope and aspiration.

Bridgend YMCA has a Board of seven committed and experienced Trustees. We also have three full time members of staff. As a team, we are passionate about strengthening and improving services for children and young people and between them have a wealth of experience in working with Young People of all backgrounds, but especially those who are disadvantaged, challenging or those with additional needs.
